Sunray Homestay - Ella

We did not want to leave and would have stayed for longer. It had an exceptionally nice setting next to Ella city center.3. It was near all the cafes and bars.4. The homestay is close to Colombo airport.5. The homestay is also near Goyambokka beach, a quiet and lovely spot.

We had a real good stay in Ella near to all the cafees and bars, and the train station. Good sized and huge room with a nice view, had everything what we needed. It was stunning to the railroad located on the path outside the home stay.

New-fashioned and spacious rooms, with mountain view. Nice staff, no complaints whatsoever, had an EXCELLENT stay.

The location was marvelous and amazing, adjacent to the center of Ella, the hiking trails, and all the cafes and bars. I didn't want to leave; would definitely return here.

our family had a good stay with a short walk to ella town at this new apartment near the train station, ella rock and waterfalls. magnificent location away from the town centre, loved it.

As a tourist, I loved the stunning views of the valley and waterfall from my balcony. the room was spacious and comfortable, with a cozy atmosphere. the homemade breakfast was delicious and the family running the homestay were incredibly kind and welcoming. the host was also very helpful in arranging a driver for our next destination. Highly recommended for a peaceful and beautiful stay.

I felt safe walking around at night and the staff was always ready to help with any request or concern. Nothing was too much trouble.

Some guests have mentioned that the cleanliness of the property, particularly the bathroom, could be improved.

This room is just perfect! The tile/marble floor feels so cool under your feet, making you feel instantly refreshed. And the balcony is a total game-changer, providing the perfect spot to enjoy the stunning views of Ella while sipping your morning coffee. Love it!

Personally, I found the tile/marble floor a bit chilly in the morning, but hey, some people might actually enjoy that!

We had a fantastic stay at this homestay in the mountains. The room was spacious, clean, and had amazing views of the surroundings. We loved having a private balcony where we could relax and enjoy the scenery. The breakfast provided was delicious and varied each morning. The staff were very friendly and helpful, making us feel welcome throughout our stay. The location of the hotel was great, as it was away from the noise of the town center but still within walking distance to all the cafes and shops.

Clean rooms - great location within walking distance of everything - friendly and helpful host family - delicious and varied breakfast - stunning views of Ella Rock. The owner's assistant - Tushar - provided excellent service as a guide to Diyaluma Falls and even took photos of us.

Inconsistent WiFi signal, room cleanliness and noise. The WiFi signal would occasionally drop, causing some inconvenience.
